I am in the process of sponsoring my Common Law spouse, we have been together continuously for over a year and and in our relationship 3 years. We have all the required documents and pictures to show proof of ongoing and genuine relationship.

One of my concerns is our previous relationships?

I was married long ago and have a divorce certificate, then in a common law relationship for 5 years which ended in 05. We had no children and no assets so we just separated.  I have made a declaration of severance of common law relationship and signed it.

My spouse is legally married in the Philippines, she has been separated since 2004 and she has a separation agreement signed by both her and her husband and notarized affidavits from her mom, sister and cousin validating the date of their separation.

After reading the OP2 manuals I think this is what they require in our case

Any comments would be appreciated.

Regards,

Raymond.
