hi guys
i recently purchased a brand new PAL wii console+wii Fit for my kids from London, England, where I live.

Hopfully, I'll belanding  in canada in3-4 months

My Qs. are:

1- Do the PAL equipmets [particularly wii] work in canada? Plz. explain
2- Can a pal wii be converted to ntsc...in canada? how much will it cost?

No, it won't. 'Coz all TVs here r NTSC compatible. I've been trying since long to fetch one with dual compatibility. They do not recognize the PAL signal. I've the same issue -- none of my Dubai eqpts work, the Camcorders, Blu-ray player, the PS3 etc.

And those converters r useless too. One -they r pretty pricey; Two -their output is absolutely trash.

A Canadian Wii is about $200 plus tax about £145

Future Shop has the Wii on for $209, white, black and the Super Mario model in red. 
Don't mean to hijack your thread but I have a question in return - I bought a Canadian Blackberry bluetooth ear attachment to use with a Blackberry Bold phone for a friend in India and I am hoping he will be able to use it there!  Does anyone know if it will be OK?  Thanks.

I just sent such these things to pakistan several times. they worked and still are working.
i assume they shud work in india as well, however, better if u ask them in india
