The following is from the CIC(many of you may be familiar with this information, yet I am quoting to clarify my question):

"you have at least one year of continuous full time or equivalent paid work experience in the last ten years in at least one of the occupational categories identified in the Ministerial Instructions."

I have experience in one of the NOC category but not continuous: 6 months; 5 months break; then 9 months.

Do I qualify for federal skilled category?

Thanks

Haven't you answered your own question?

You have 9 months, do three more.

Read carefully and observe

"you have at least one year of continuous full time or equivalent paid work experience in the last ten years"

Important words Continuous full time or Equivalent

You have total 20 months of paid work experience.

I have read in other thread as per that you will qualify.

Take more suggestions from Qorax, Leon, PMM, Saki, ....

If you changed job and there is no break in between then it should be ok.
Otherwise not sure.

Sorry I misread it.

I think Baloo & devilhimselff are right as you have 5 months break between 6months and 9 months.

Guys thanks for the replies.

I am still not sure because in the CIC guide at one place they mention part-time equivalent but do not mention continuous.

mycan, can you please post the link to the thread you mention.

Also, does CIC reply (to such questions) if I send an email?
