Hi

I want to apply for work permit for Canada in India. I have to travel to outside India this weekend for a month.

Is it possible to submit the Work permit application without passport and when I will be back, will submit the passport

I inquired the same with VFS global In India and they told it is mandatory to submit the passport BUT my Canadian Lawyer says that it is possible to submit work permit without passport in India

Please Advise
