Dear Experts,
I am staying in Canada from 2009 on work permit and I applied for Canada PR on June 2011 under Canadian Experience class. Now my PR application is still in process and I got my new work permit on October 2011(Valid till Oct 2013 and I am continuing my job here in Canada). Do I need to inform Detroit office about new work permit.( my application has been transferred from Buffalo office recently). Please advice.

Thanks
Krish

your choice.  It is not required, but not a bad idea either.

Hi All,
Finally my day has come and I got PPR today. :-). Good luck to all who are awaiting in queue.

Did any one submitted passport at Detroit office in persona and picked on the same day?
And one more question, I have friends in Detroit, can they submit my passport on my behalf?
Now I am traveling to India in mid of March(tickets are booked) and I am afraid what if don't get my passport back before to it?

PPR says below, is that true?
If you do not have a mailing address in Canada or the United States, you must deliver your passport(s) in person, Monday to Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 12 noon. Your passports will be ready for pick up in ten business days.
