Hi all,

I find this forum very useful.

I would need someone assistance in this.

I am a PR in Canada and I did my landing in Vancouver in May 2010. I have stayed in Vancouver for 14 days and then I traveled back to Singapore to continue my work assignment. I opened a bank account and deposited CAD5.00.

I have no income from Canada by any mean as I am working in the Singapore and the only income I have is a salary income in Singapore.

Am I subject to the Canadian Income Tax for my salary income derived from my job in Singapore.

Thanks

No, you are not a tax resident of Canada.
