His BAC was .05 and went to court and was fined $500 and his licence was suspended for 8 months. I am his travel agent so I need to know if he needs a visa?

He needs a TRP (Temporary Resident Permit) if he is criminally inadmissible as the completion of his sentence was less than 5 years ago. Only if you can prove that he "blew" less than .08,  will he not require a TRP. They count the license suspension as part of the sentence.
