Hey guys , yes i have asked this question so many times but i am still confused .
I came back to Canada 2 weeks ago and i am now filling the forms to sponsor my wife ,I have never worked in Canada , i am just settling now , but want to sponsor my wife as quickly as possible , i know there is no minimum income to show when sponsoring a wife but shoud i get a financial evaluation done i read a lot here about revenue , delcaration of income and so on ? should i declare my revenue when i was living out of Canada? or should i just write to CIC on a separate sheet of paper to explain to them how i support myself and how i plan to support my wife when she arrives ? since i am unemployed now ? What else should i do about this ?
Thanks for sharing
God Bless !

You are supposed to declare your income and file tax returns as a PR.

Regardless, if you haven't done so yet, you may still show proof of your earnings abroad and whatever savings you have at the present that you will be using to get established.  If you are job-hunting, then show proof of that as well.

Basically, you need to establish how you intend to support yourselves and fulfill your obligations as a sponsor.  You do not need a financial evaluation, you are sponsoring your spouse.  BUT you do need to show them you have a plan.
