Hi all,
I just wanted to get further clarity on what qualifies to be listed as countries that were lived in for more than 6 months. In my case, i stayed in the US for a period for 1.5 years. I have entered the US on visit visa and after 5 months, i applied to change my visitor visa to a student visa which was a process that took one year in total. This was in the year 2002. Do i need to list it as countries i lived/stayed in for more than 6 months?

And if yes, how can i obtain a police certificate from the US if i am currently living and staying the United Arab Emirates?

Thank you and i appreciate your input on the above.

Best regards,
Moe

Thank you Preet. I would appreciate if someone applied for an FBI certificate from UAE shed some light on the process followed.

I tried contacting the American Consulate in Abu Dhabi who directed me to the Canadian Consulate in Abu Dhabi but i could not get through to anyone to ask.

Thank you
