DMPs in Chicago!

Has anyone had experience with the following two DMPs in chicago?

Boguslaw Chmiel

I went to Evanston-Rogers Park Family (Serafin Veramendi).  Good office and friendly staff.  Be prepared to wait for a long time though.  The X-ray is not done in the office.  After the medical exam you will be directed to a different office (can't remeber the address but it's somewhere Lincoln Park - 15 min drive for the DMPs office) where they do the X-ray right away.  Both the Evanston-Rogers Clinic and the X-ray clinic don't accept credit/debit cards so bring cash (about $250 for the medical exam and $80 for the X-ray).  Prepare to take a day off work and bring a book to read... Eat something before your get in line... and bring a water.

One more question, assuming you're male, did the doctor perform a nude/genital exam for you? I'm just a little shy of a full physical examination.

The DMP will do routine blood works, urine tests, check your hart and blood presure.  They will test for HIV and ask a few questions about yours and your family's medical history.  They will also do a lung x-ray.  DMP will not discuss any of the results with you.

So there was no genital/phyiscal examination performed?

No, you don't have to worry about that

Also, how soon after the medical, did serafin veramandi send the results to CIC office?

I'm not sure how long it takes to get all the test results and reveiw the x-ray?  Without knowing for sure, assume it will take DMP 1 week to complete the test results and send to Immigration.  It will probably take Immigration about 30 days to receive, review and update your file.  But again, it's a guess.

we did our exam in Jan 2011 with chmiel, and he still has not sent it out yet (June 21.2011)!!!! after over 5 months!! we received a letter from the regional office stating that if we do not take action within 60days, we would get rejected. we tried to get hold of him and he is not readily available and always promise to mail it out tomorrow after tomorrow. We contacted the regional office to obtain another set of forms for another exam but no reply yet. what is wrong with this old guy? no sense of trust, responsibility, or professionalism. what shall we do? help!!!!

Report this DMP to the VO and also CIC. It is duty of the DMP to send the exam results in a prescribed timeframe. If he/she does not do this, then he should be punished for that.

Hello friends,

I had similar horrible experience with the Polish guy in Chicago. It took him 8 weeks to process my file and send it to Ottawa. It drove me crazy and finally I drove to his clinic again. I stayed there for 8 hours to push him to process my file. He finally finished and mailed it right at the second day.
