Divorce from outside Canada...Plzzz Help

I am Canadian. I got married in Pakistan last year. I spent 2 months with my husband and then came back to Canada to sponsor him but due to some serious conflicts I had to withdraw sponsorship and few months later I got divorce. Since I was married in Pakistan so I had to file divorce in that country but I couldn't go and file the case myself instead I handed over my power of attorney to a reliable person. I have divorce certificate but the situation is how can i remarry sometime in future? I hadn't registered my marriage here but I believe gov has my status info as immigration withdrew my case before processing, they might have upgraded my status. Can you guys plz help me with the process and how much it would cost me?
