Divorce and then new marriag during application process.......

It is for one of my Friend.
He applied in 2009 and have already got his 2nd AOR in JUNE 2010. However, mean while, due to their family problem, he divorced his wife and got seperated. However, they did not inform to CIC.
Now, the boy is going for second marriage and is thinking to remove his X-wife name from process and put the new wife name.

Just wanted to know that will this effect his whole application? Should he go thorugh all the new application??? He was under NOC 4131 which is not in the new list so going for new application will be useless for him. He was the main applicant and it makes no difference on his point either by X-wife or with new wife???

Any advise will be hight appricated.
