distance learning

Hello experts,


Before I migrate to canada, I want to  do a certificate course from SAIT Polytechnic, Calgary. Will this help, to find employement along with other courses/degrees? Do distance learning has importance ?

I am doing Canadian Security Course from CSI Toronto, it is also distance learning module. There is only one organisation awarding this certification in Canada and is recognised by all the financial institution in Canada.

Check with this angle regarding the institute you want to get enrolled for distance education. Distance edu is quite acceptable in Canada. Check credibility and acceptibility in the job market of this institute and its course. See the job advertisement if they want this certification and do they give preference to candidates with it.

I am presently from India. Is it possible to do this course from India? I want to do some financial course related to insurance or banking.
Is it possible.

No i m in my native country and your neighbour. I have a plan to visit canada in Feb 2011 , till than i dont want to waste time . so i want to do distance learning . I guess few  d-learning is aceptable in canada if done by recognized institution.

You can study this course in India also but I dont think they have test centre in India, that you take test once you land in Canada. Till that time you can get enrolled and study on line.

CSC will definately get gob in a bank or financial institution selling Mutual Fund or other securities.
