Adaptability factor - There is a discrepancy in the date of birth of my wife in her secondary (matric - equals grade 10) certificate and rest of the docs like passport, national id card, birth certificate, etc. All the docs except her secondary certificate bear the same date of birth. Now in order to claim the adaptability points what out of the following should i do !
1. Get the date corrected in her secondary certificate and the apply. (It may take around 2 months while i intend to launch my application far earlier, like in mid May).
2. Send all her docs except secondary certificate.
3. Send all the her docs including secondary certificate assuming that VO may not scrutanize each and every certificate so minutely to know such unnoticeable discrepancies.

Please advise

2. Send all her docs except secondary certificate.

It would be a good option. You can send it later to the visa office after correction.

I agree with Wilson, though she won't get any points for secondary and also post secondary degrees are required for submission to your VO.

Cheers

I agree, but a note in the cover letter that you cannot submit that document because it will take get the correct one.

i have just come to know and have double checked from the VO check list that it is only post secondary that we need to submit, no secondaries....so believe no worries.please correct me if i am on the wrong track.thanks

wilson and salavasz - no need to put notes or send it later after correction as it is not in the VO check list. i must admit my ignorance and change my habit of doing things in haste.

2. Send all her docs except secondary certificate-- You can do but if CHC ask for later what will you do? I have seen in this forum CHC asked for secondary certificates too.
3. Send all the her docs including secondary certificate assuming that VO may not scrutanize each and every certificate so minutely to know such unnoticeable discrepancies-- Never think VO is stupid. They are clever enough to asses the application. You really shouldn't pursue this process.

Please advise
