yes...you shd provide visa copy to carry 3rd suitcase. My agent is doing that for me and i will let you know once i hear. So far i planned to tk 2 bags. if air india allows 3 then weel and good. I read what i posted on their website.
Do not worry, i will inform if its feasible or works out foe me.

taking 3rd bag will be really difficult to handle.

you dont have to handle....you need to take care only till it is uploaded and air line ppl do that task. Take all 3 bags with 4 wheels.
