Hello all,

My wife and I need to communicate with the visa office in Bogota. We want to send a copy of her csq and also rectify something we provide wrong in her application ( IMM 0008 F; Question 9, second point. ). The thing is my wife doesn't speak English or French and I filled in her application with her in French. So, if she faxes the embassy with a letter in French and they revise the application and see she said that she can't speak French or English, they will find it funny and might think that I created something of all this story. I remember I said I was the interpreter in the form as people recommended me to mention.

So, what would you do in my position?

Thank you

It should be OK to send a letter in French. They won't think you must have lied on the application when she said she didn't know French. If you are really worried you could sign the letter yourself, or explain in it that you are writing it for her.
