Folks,

I am May 2010 applicant who sent his full docs to ND and got second AOR on Jan 14 2011 - NOC 0213. I was in US and came back to India with family in Nov 2010 hoping get my Canada PR Visa by Nov 2011.

But now things does not look good for Pre-Jun 2010 applicants.

Now, my company has given me a very good opportunity in Europe (not UK) and it will be minimum 1 yr and max 2 yrs.

What should I do? I cannot decline these kind of opportunities for ever. Projects that I get assigned in India are not good.

Let me know what should I do. Your suggestions would be really helpful.

Thanks

Hi,

As the decision against  pre- june 2010 applications are still uncertain, I suggest you accept the current offer. In case there is medical request you can do it from your country of residence. Also you could submit the passport for visa accordingly. If you get a PR visa while you are at  the new place, you could make a landing and return to that place to continue the offered  job. However, you have  to keep in touch with the visa office and should give the change of address. Of course you could face some inconveniences due to the re-location.

Thanks for your input Wilson. One challenge in New Delhi VO is we cannot send or receive passports outside India.

Not sure what the work around will be. I might have to let time take its course.

Please take this very good opportunity! DON'T BE BOUND by the Canadian immigration process which is so unpredictable. The advice is don't let the immigration process take up the central part of you lives. You can have it going in the background while you go about you normal life.

The situation for pre-juners is quite bleak, and very frustrating.

When its time for med requests or pasport requests, you will always come out with way to go about this.
In anycase, once you get the visa, you can go to Canada and do the landing formalities and return to your job before deciding to permanently move to Canada..hope this piece helps! Mandie

Accept the Offer for Europe.
my view is that there is no hope for thousands of Pre June 0213's in 2011.

What Wilson meant and also what I suggest is that you get in touch with Delhi VO and ask them to transfer your file to Europe and if ur assignment finishes before u get canadian PR and have to come back to India, you can always get ur file transferred again. and u can get ur medical done from which ever country u r in at the time of MR. Its a little additional hassle for you but is totally worth it. Though I must warn you that London VO is among the slowests in the world (if thats where you are going)

This a decision you need to make, but if opportunity is good why not take it.

For Visa Purposes you need to consider 2 things and if think both are not conflicting with the current opportunity you may be good with Canada immigration as well along with what you are getting now.

1.)  As for visa process you may have to visit India for few weeks to get the PP stamped when VO asks for the same. If this is doable you should be good. Also, when you get the PPR, please let VO know your condition and ask if it is possible for them to ask for PP for just 3-4 weeks.

2.)Once you get the visa, you will need to complete the landing with in the visa expiry date(One year from date of medicals)

I agree with Mandie that CA Immigration should not stop you to take strides to better your career....and obviously this is ONE such opportunity.

I disagree with Payal on the information that FILES can be transferred. PR files CANNOT be transferred on the request of the applicant. This liberty lies only with the VO and is done under "Program Integrity".

Hi there,

We are sailing in the same boat. I received my 2nd AOR on 5 jan 11, at that time I was working in a UK MNC  in sydney. As I have filed my case with ndvo, to avoid the file transfer I resigned from my job n came back india in june assuming it will bw done in 2-3 months. Well now the situation seems even worse n I m feeling pity on my silly mistake. Its not just my mistake infact but cic is really becoming *censored word*ty n they do not keeping thier words that they give us in writing n now they dont even fU*+ replying to our mails.

Most of us have families n childern, is it ok for cic to disturb our every aspect of life creating such uncertainty ?

I have just been offered a job here in india for 5 times less than I was getting in sydney, also I have been asked to sign a contract of a year, which seems difficult.

Well I think there are a lot of others like me, but lets just say we have chosen this option n now we cant do anything can we?

1) Take the medicals in Europe.
2) When the time comes to submit the passport, you can send the passport with your family member or you can travel to India.(Requesting leave + work from india for some time).
