Hi Qorax,

Expert opinion require from one of expert 

I have done 3 year Diploma of associate engineering in civil technology here in  Pakistan, after that I join the Bachelor of Technology in Civil Engineering, after doing my diploma of associate engineering in civil engineering I join one construction company and was looking after all the matter and task regarding all the wood work to be performed in any new house or commercial building, I become supervisor when I left the company ( almost 4 years of experience),
After that I joined Telenor Pakistan  Cellullar company as permanent employee since 2005 I am working here in Telenor Pakistan but as territory Sales Supervisor

My both jobs performed are entirely different in fact after doing my studies I join engineering field but got the better opportunity in telecom sector Sales Department
•   Two questions am I still eligible? Under category Contractors and Supervisors, Carpentry Trades NOC 7215 ?

•   Secondly My Diploma and my B-Tech are relevant to this category? ( as Employment requirements says “Journeyman/woman trade certification as a carpenter or cabinetmaker is usually required”

Regards

Though you have addressed your post directly to Qorax, still taking the liberty of answering you as I have noticed you have been waiting.

You definitely qualify under 7251 from what you have described above. It does not matter what your profession is at the moment. You need one year FULL TIME work exp in the trade NOC 7251 anytime within the past 10 years.

But please be extremely careful in detailing out your job duties and make sure it matches with what is mentioned in the NOC.

All the best.

 @ highness

that always better to get some opinions what ever you have planned to do so
All responses really appreciated

Why I am confused about this!

If my file get through VO for validation,I know I do qualify against the applied category 7215 fulfilling all the requirements, but from past six years not associated with the occupation ( big question mark for me )

don't you think in this situation decision from VO would be  more difficult to decide about the person applying for the PR got the experiences and also eligible but not attached with his requested occupation from certain years? and become the part of entirely different setup!

Also in this scenario his preference will be  more to any other person applying under this category and still attached till now ?

No Iqbal, no one is given preference. Its a very simnple objective immigration process. You get the points (67) you qualify. And you are ready for processing. Dont think too much. Just apply.

Read thru the Instruction Guide in the CIC website THROUGHLY. 4 to 5 times. You will get the picture.
Good luck.

Iqbal600,

I applied under two categories 0111/4221 and was not attached to one of them (teaching) for the last 6 years. Still, it helped me I guess.

I remembered making so many inquires to myself and wondering many what ifs...

The important issue is that as long as the category you're applying under still within the cap, you're fine.

Greetings,

SFD
