Azadi, I really appreciate your reply.
I hope you are right about my case and the background check.
And you are 100% right , that in the end (hopefuly I am in the end) of the process, days seems sooo long and we are constantly thinking about it, specialy in my case, I am not working, so days never finish for me. After all, as you said they have tones of file to deal with. If from lebanon only , each year they give 2000 person a PR, so I guess we have to be patient. In my case, they have received all the additional document from less than 1 month per some day...So I will do some google search to see if there a place where I can buy patient...
I am still thinking if we should send them another iquiry this week, our last was in May 25, so I don't know..
All these question and uncertain issue is driving me crasy...
Thank you very much Azadi and for your useful info and advice..

No worries. I understand you. My husband is also not working and just hanging out in Damascus. He says he will either die from boredom and anxiety unless he passes out from the heat.
My personal opinion about writing them an e-mail -- don't do it yet. Your lawyer has written them twice and they have not answered your lawyer. Unless you have no new information, I would err on the side of patience. I wish I could buy some patience too but it's all in our head. Expect to wait another month, no matter how disagreeable that sounds to you now and handle the disappointment once, rather than expecting it will happen tommorrow or the next day and get disappointed every day. Trust me the days will pass better.

Azadi, I am facing the same as your husband...I will die from boredom, anxiety and the people and relative question, why, when , how..:))
My opinion is as well not to write them an email, just wait week or 2. That what I will tell my husband.
Well I am not expecting to have the visa before the end of July, but just need to be sure that they don't need anything else, all is good, and they are in the decision making level...because in July we will start our 15 month since we sent the application..:(
So patient will be my best friend (along with the internet) till I get my visa if God wish
I really appriciate your advice, thank you
