HI,

can anyone guide me on this mailing address being different from residential address.

IMM 0008 - Form has Section 14 (mailing address) & 15 (residential address). I am a conultant and i keep movoing from city to city. What address should i give in this section. My sister owns a house in virginia. Can i give her address as mailing address and what every my address is rgt now as residential address. This was all communication from CIC will only be sent to my sister's place.

I have been told that i should provide some sort of permanent addresss as my mailing address so that there will not be any delays in my processing. Can a mailing addressbe different from residential address and also will this impact of this on getting police clearence.

Can anyone guide me on this. I am planning to give my sisters address as both mailing & residential address.

Residentail and mailing address can be different. You can easily give your sister's address a mailing address and that is no issue. You will get all coresspondence at her address
You should provide your address for residentail address,  giving worng residential address may be a issue during background checks
