my MP sent letter to the visa office a week ago and there's still no answer, is that normal to ignore MP's letters?

On October 23rd when I spoke to my MP's office they told me that on Monday October 26th they would get in contact with London.  My MP told me that if I do not hear anything from her by Friday October 30th then I should get in contact with my MP to see what is going on.  On Friday October 30th I waited all day by 2:45PM I still did not hear anything.  At that time I called my MP's office but the person that was dealing with my case was not in at that time so I sent her an email.  An hour later she emailed me back with London's response.

Suin, I suggest that if you have waited for a week and have not heard back from your MP that you get in contact with your MP and ask them what's going on.

thank you for your reply, SadGirl:(. the matter is that we are constantly in touch with our MP, but they haven't heard from visa office for a week already. it looks like the visa office ignoring them. I really do not know what to do, as the matter our MP contacted them about is really important.

Thanks sadgirl.  I hope your case is resolved soon.  It can be a very frustrating experience.  You seem to have done all you can.  Good luck!
