Hi:

I did my landing in Canada in May 2010. At that time I did not declare my belongings. i am here in my home country for vacation and will be going back to Canada in august. What can I do now to declare the jewelery that I inherent or got as gifts or my own purchase before landing to Canada. What if I want to carry that to Canada partially or in full? I have all the receipt of purchase indicating the purchase date as a proof. Will that be enough or do I need some other evidence/documents.

Please note that I am talking about belongings that I own before i landed in Canada.

If you have not declared it earlier you have to pay customs duty on imported items
