Hey guys new to this forum... I became a Canadian PR in 2004, while I was on H1 in the USA. At the time I was in the USA, planning to get married. Plan was to come back to the USA, apply for my wife's papers and get on with my life in Canada. Turns out the Gods had other plans. We had a bunch of turmoil in the family back home that caused all my plans to be pushed, and now my Canadian PR is set to expire. I REALLY want to immigrate there cause a couple of my cousin's are already there and we are hoping to build a little family network there.
To show my sincere intentions I have reapplied for PR for me and my wife again. My question is Have I blown my chances of immigrating to Canada? Please respond.

If you have been outside Canada since 2004, your PR status is already expired.  You must reside for 2 years in Canada in every 5 year period.  If so you have to reapply and convince CHC that you are sincere in your intentions.

Yes. Good luck with the new application.
