Hi,

I am also same boat to know the details.... as personally I intend to carry 25-30 thousand CAD/USD.
Understand peoples carry the amount ilegally beyond the limit of Bangladesh Bank.

Appreciate your experience in this regard.

I spoke to someone who landed a few months back. He said he had carried the amount in three different lots keeping two bundles in his two luggage and one with himself. He said that he knows it is risky to keep dollars in the luggage but he took his chance.

He also suggested to not to tell anything to the immigration officer about the money. Immigration officers don't usually ask anything about money even though they are very likely to know the fact that new immigrants are carrying extra money with them.
