Detroit embassy TRV (advice please)

i have applied on 30 nov. and detroit get it on 2 nd dec morning still i m waiting as
i have to visit my home country to see my sick mother. i informed them twice but
they are not responding.what i do>>>>

i send them on 28 november and they send me back by 4 january.
stamp date was 28 dec 2011.batter is buffalo.

  I have applied for TRV on 6 march and embassy got it on 12 march. I applied TRV on the base of work permit and it has been more than a week

  but i have not got my passport back. Does any one know that how much time detroit embassy take to issue the visa. waiting for indefinate time

 sucks. I can not go to USA to know the status. Tracking number does not help. Envelope is still in USA. Please help. I used prepaid self addressed

 envelope to send my passport. How much time would it take ? It is a *censored word*ing disaster to wait that long

On cic website, the standard processing time is given as 30days.

28 Days from the day they received my application which includes one way transit time( time Detroit sent me my passport ).
