Deported from US and wanting to visit Canada..

Hi there,

I am writing this on behalf of a friend who is currently awaiting deportation for overstaying in the USA . I am trying to find out if this will effect his chances of visiting Canada in the future?  Any info would be a big help and much appreciated.

Pretty well eliminates his chances as a visitor to Canada where he is expected to leave Canada at the end of the stay.  He has demonstrated by his overstay in the US that it is unlikely that he would leave Canada.
