After the landing of principle applicant, can the wife and the children land alone later without the simultaneous presence of principle applicant at the port of entry?

Yes - as long as the principal applicant lands first, you'll be fine.

In every PR there is a date mentioned before the applicant needs to enter. So if Primary applicant enters first before the required date, can the dependents enter anytime later or do they have to also follow the date mentioned in the PR.

All parties must land before visa expires.
