I did not know thsi but yes, you are right, I looked it up at http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/resources/manuals/op/op06-eng.pdf and on page 18 it says:

In terms of funds required, the number of the applicant's family members includes both
accompanying and non-accompanying dependants.

For 5 people, you would need $22,831

oh my. in my initial application, i indicated in the question "how much is your net worth", i answered $ 13, 486 cad because i though the fund needed is just for me and my husband.will it have an effect with my initial application with CIO NS?will i have the chance to correct it and comply with the required fund?
