Our Daugther is a dependant on my husband's application as I have applied to sponsor both of them outland.  My husband has been asked to come for an interview and there is no mention of my daughter in this letter. When the visa is issued on the same day is he supposed to take her passport along too? since nothing in the letter says he should bring along her passport.

I have read that children are NOT allowed in the building at all (at least in Seattle?), so it would make sense that your daughter isn't going to need to go if that is the case everyone. They would specifically mention if he needed to bring your daughter.

Curious, do you need to be at the interview with him?
