my wife is applying for masters course in canadian university. if i go to canada on spouce or dependent visa can i work full time overthere ?

Hi asutoshdesai:

When your wife's study permit gets approved, you will be automatically eligible for an Open Work Permit.  This allows you to work full-time, on any job in any industry.  Your employers will not have to file for an LMO, so that is an added advantage.  Your Open Work Permit will be for the same duration as your wife's study permit.

thanks a lot for your quick answer sir. one more question i have is what are the chances of getting pr after my wife's study is over ? and can i start business when she is on student visa ?
