I made a google group to discuss NBDE topics. The primary concern would be to pass the assessment of fundamental knoweldge test. This a closed group. If anyone is interested to join, PM me with your email so I can send an invitation.
Hi Hondubai, I will do the AFK test on February 4, 2011 and I would like to join the disscussion grouo you created. Thanks, Ibrahim

My dear colleague, this is really interesting , but actually a common scenario......... No suggestions can really help you. All you have to do is get patients that need RCT, and keep carrying it out on them, until your hands feel steady enough again.........also, display maximum confidence when your patients are there, since its a procedure you've been doing in the past. I really understand how you feel All the best

I have few question i have that hopefully you expert on these can give me informations: By the way just a brieft background of my situtation: I am a dentist-orthodontist backin the philippines and had practice there for almost 9 years as private practicioner...I moved to america working on an H! b visa and is currently working as chieft orthodontic tech in an ortho lab here i america. I have been nominated in PNP program in alberta and had done my medicals last June 16 and right now Imy file accdg to buffalo my file was transfered to Los Angeles to "expedite "processing...any here are my questions: Questions: 1. generally , regardless of which province in canada we go, can a foreign dentist practice dentistry there? do you have to go back to school? 2. what are the stepswe need to do to practice dentistry? 3. Is there a provice or state in canada where one foreign dentist can just immediately practice dentistry? Please help me, i am ohoping that i will get my PPR and soon my visa in canada in the next few months and I wanted to explore the possibility of practicing my line of profession in Canada...PLEASE HELP AND I APPRECIATE ALL YOUR HELP ON THIS. I was suggesting to help in answering hard questions; each one of us has strong n weak aspects and we can complement each other. For example, I'm oral and maxillofacial surgeon and you can count on me on surgery; we have also another member "dentalhero" is an orthodontist..and for sure we have among us periodontists, prosthodontists...etc We have to discuss the best way to manage our study effectively and in atimely manner.

hi
i guess a study group is a perfect idea , just let put that in action , i don't deny it .. my problem is that i am already working in UAE in a ver busy practice and i can not give up my job for the sake of canada right now .. i am willing to leave and go practice there but not before i see myself in the right track where i can see myself practicing there and as everyone said , it is along journey with alot of things on stake ..
so .. for me a study group where u can feel urself and all ur worries and concerns are mutual with others will give u the drive 2 go through it ... i am already registered for the exam .. i am gonna take it in London , UK and it is 4 months from now .. i have 2 put a plan in action so i can manage to make it and at the same time maintain my job ..
i think we all know how tough our job is .. i am working 2 shifts a day collectively 9 hours and it is just so hard after that to go home and be able to concentrate on studying ... and it is been awhile since college when u used to have this motivation ... i know how promising a future would be if we make it .. but we have 2 face facts in order to find a way to make it happen ..
any suggestions

Hello Dr.Hasib Please help me .... I am an Orthodontists (Dentist) from Syria but I live and work in Saudi Arabia. I applied for Immigration to Canada Under Federal Skilled Worker in Post June 2010 period and I received an email from CIC Nova Scotia stating that I had Received Positive Eligibility Review (PER) and That They are going to transfer my file to London Visa office and this was on 15 March 2011 .. I didn't Receive Anything from CIC or Visa Office from that time and Whenever I Check my Ecase It Says There Are No Information for this logging and that the visa office might have received my application but didn't start processing it. Please help me in this issue coz i'm very worried , Is it Normal or there is something wrong ? Regards ..

New to this group and even the entire canadian immmigration thing....its all a bit overwhelming!
Just about to start the application process...any helpful hints?
