Good thinking.
- I suggest that we make a group with the purpose of sharing sources, study material and experience.  We can start by sharing our mail addresses and even make a group on facebook.
- We can be like a small socity, with each one responsible for certain task with ultimate purpose of passing these exams.  For instance, one for gathering information about application, other about sources, third searching for answers for some exam questions.  We can even make everyone of us responsible for certain subject, for me, I'm an oral surgeon and I will be more than happy to solve any problem related to oral surgery; may be someone else is specialised in ortho and can make things easier for us..etc
- Hope everyone can develop further this ideas or have a new input.

 yes, i am here

we should start with the basics...as we were not in touch with the studies for so many years so, i think

dental anatomy we should read first followed by
gen. anatomy
pathology & microbiology
physiology and biochemistry
then the clinicals
we should see the pattren and type of questions, according to that we should prepare
e.g. they never asked the steps of biochemistry cycles ,so there is no need to remember them....
in basics they always ask the clinically related questions ...
guys what do you think pls share...

hello everyone! i am new here to this thread.

I have worked as a dentist in the government for 1 year, in a company for 20 years and i also own a dental clinic.

I would just like to ask if i will still be able to make it before the cap is full. (500 dentists as i have read in the immigration website).

I am now reviewing for the ielts, and i am planning to take the exam this November 2011. Then, I will submit all documents, including my family's documents, by December/November 2011. Will i still be able to make it?i am really eager to go to canada but i am afraid that it will be too late. (by the way, i am from the Philippines). Smiley Thank you so much.

As of now, there are 114 dentists who made it into the Cap. Advice please. Thank you!

with the present trend definitely you can still beat the cap even by december....but you should also take into consideration the later you submit, the average daily application received will also increases...

dentist01

if you average the daily application received from july up to this date its  about 1.3 application a day,
you just do the math to december you can still beat the cap...but remember the average increases by the later date.....
