Hasib bhai u have opened a pandora box here:) but we will have an answer in a few days. Or mayb we shud refer to the returned cases of registered nurses. I didn't mention 1122 becoz we know tht perhaps all its applications were received within a week. So it is not a good indicator as to when applications are considered within cap. Regards

BUT CIO ANNOUNCED CAP OF 3131 AT 23RD NOVEMBER , ONE FORUM MEMBER CALLED CIO , CIO TOLD THAT IT HAS OPENED APPLICATIONS TILL 31 AUGUST , SO 3131  CAP HAS ONLY 31 AUGUST APPLICATIOS
WHATS YOUR OPINION.YOU R SAYING COMPLETENESS CHECK IS DONE ON THE SAME DAY.
yeah,,it used to be the usual process.
now, i am not sure how CIC is working now a days.
however, if you call CIO then you will get the answer form call centre (authorized by CIO) who are not always updated. there is no way, u can talk directly to CIO employees.
that's why i adviced you to email them regarding your application ASAP

Dear ALL!
Could anyone help me to short my problem in filling the application form?
My number of years of education in total is 17 ½ years as my MSc course duration is 18 months or 1 ½ years. But the new generic form [IMM0008ENU_2D] does not allow putting any fraction of year. Unless I put a value, the bar code will not be generated. If anyone having the same problem and if so how you are overcoming this problem?
Regards
Toru.

Dear Dr. Hasib,
I really appreciate your prompt reply. However, the answer of you leads to my second question: what shall I write in SCHEDULE A: BACKGROUND/DECLARATION [IMM 5669 E]? 17 years or 17 and 1/2 years? Shall I place a cover letter on top of the application form explaining the situation?
Thanks again Dr. Hasib for your cooperation.

Toru.

Hasib bhai u have opened a pandora box here:) but we will have an answer in a few days.

The understanding is simple in this regard, CIO receieved application and get them piled as queue, they pick and process applications as per their convenience and whenever there log is completed then they returned all the application in the pile. Moreover they update the ecas as per their processing So this is even possible that ur application reached there at 5 sep but they returned it in Nov just because Cap reached in to the application received by 31st August.
So dear always pray that your application reach and process on time
Thanks

yes..IELTS test result is valid for 2 years. please note, only GT ielts will be accepted.
if your IELTS test is General training(GT) then it's fine.
no, get a new PCC..if it takes too long time to get it, dont wait for it. YOu can apply to CIO now, and send your PCC later to your visa office
