Hello Elena..

Welcome to the forum.
Well, ur specialty as dentist is among the favored 26 occupations list.

Considering ur education at one of UK's biggest universities, ur vastly extended experience and ur other calibers, you have high potentials to get accepted for immigration so fast.

I believe u won't face any problem to get the license & to work as dentist in Canada.

Indeed, Canada is ideal for your/your kids' future.

Remember me, I may be one of ur patients in Canada..& I may ask for a discount! Wink

Best of luck.

Hey Elena..

Whatever..I may still ask for discount! Wink Cheesy

A correction I have to make, it's not "26 occupations list", it is "29 occupations list" that was released on June 26, 2010..that's where the 26/29 confusion came from.

You may consult this list on "http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/apply-who-instructions.asp"

Please refer to "http://www5.hrsdc.gc.ca/noc/english/noc/2006/QuickSearch.aspx?val65=3222" as there u can find the job description/duties for "Dental Hygienists and Dental Therapists", one of the 29 occupations that may fit urs.

You judge.

Good luck.

Everyone is doing his own homework.
Don't u want to live in Canada?! Show a bit of sincerity.. Tongue

I just meant u to make a careful study..it's not a lightly taken decision.

Good luck.

P.S
My teeth are really well..just making a "bad-day" plan..who knows what would happen to them in Canada! Cheesy

Calgary is heaven..natural beauty.
Consider visiting T-Dot! It is worth a stay not just a visit.
And never miss CN Tower, Yonge st., Dundas st., Eaton Center..to make it short..apply for immigration!

It's Canadaaaaaa...

Dear Iceberg7 -thanks for all the kind words and encouragement -I needed that  Smiley
Will make notes about places you advised to visit .Trying to find tour company specialising in travel to Canada -all locals more about spain and turkey .Probably better to do it myself-by booking flight and finding hotel .  can I please ask you one more thing -how I can get normal local for Calgary newspaper ? any website -will be nice to subscribe to one or just read online .
But its not to important , just think its will help me to get to know every day life in Calgary , as I m really what to Fit in on arrival  Smiley
