I realize we've got to show proof of funds for first year, but what do they really mean by "must demonstrate funds for the whole duration..."?

I'd also like to hear from past successful applicants about how they managed this part.

Scholaship from uni + recently made fixed deposit in my name covers first year tuition + living + apprx. $10,000 extra. However, my sponsor who's covering the total cost for all 4 years aint a relative - so in case he gets rejected as a sponsor, will I still be getting the permit for year 1?

I have also listed the apprx. $1,599,000 property my parents own, though I havent provided the property documents to back them up (since they didn't ask for it as my parents aren't the sponsor). Wondering if they'll really believe it.
