DELAY IN SIN (SOC.INS NO)......kindly advice

Hi All

I appeared in Service Canada center, Toronto on Sept 21 to apply for mine and family SIN. Though I got print out of all SIN right away but the person told me to expect 10-15 days in getting mailed SIN cards. Now it is almost 30 days I did not receive. can some one confirm that it is normal to get in 30 days or it is unusual??? did some one has same experiance???
