Hi all,

I had sent my skilled worker class application under NOC 1111 in June 2010 to the Canada Immigration office.

The online status update quoted as "We received your application for permanent residence on June 8, 2010"

I got my first communication from them after 4 months in October 2010 quoting that i am eligible for the next process based on the review of my application.

The online status update quoted as "We reviewed your application and sent you a letter on October 4, 2010. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us"

I have then sent all my supporting documents (acadamics, IELTS, funds proof etc.) to the Visa office in New Delhi in January 2011. I had got a written communication from the Visa office, New Delhi that my documents have been received and they would processed further and such process would take 10 months.

The online status currently shows as "Your application and supporting documents were received by the Sydney Nova Scotia C-50 Rollout office. They are pending review"

Since then there is neither change in the online status nor i have got any communication from them. It has been 10 months now from the date of last communication from them.

I have applied for the immigration through an immigration consultant who has presence in the entire of India having headquarters in Hyderabad. I get repeated feedback from the consultant that the process timings have increased these a days and it would atleast take mid of next year to receive my next communication.

Can anyone please help me with the following:

1. What is the reality in the process timings?
2. Whom should i contact in case of such delays?
3. Are there anybody in this forum who are facing similar problems?

Hi,

There is nothing unusual on the messages of CIC. Those replies are commonly used for every applicants whose files are on queue for further review and decision.

You can't do any thing other than waiting!

Dear Mr. malladikarthik

I have applied on April 2010 with AEO, still I am waiting fro medical.

I think it will be 2 years time from our full document received by visa office.

So, your file may be opened in January 2013, means 2 years from your full documents submitted as on Jan 2011.

So, only one option is waiting.

Hi Aditya,

I think 2 years timeline is for getting decision on your case, and not for Medical Request. Correct me if I am wrong.

CIC is very flexible; if they can't meet the deadline they will keep extending the same. But don't hold on your plans like career, personal ect...

However they give 2 options; we can wait till they get time to look at our applications or withdraw the case.
