Really? I guess it depends on the case.

I think my question now is..once the first part is approved, will the 'conjugal partner' part of it come in to play still, or has that part been accepted as well...

The assessment of the relationship doesn't come into play until the second part of the process (applicant evaluation).  During sponsor evaluation, only the sponsor's compliance with the requirements for sponsoring (not on social assistance etc) are assessed.  The nature of his/her relationship with their partner does not affect their ability to comply with the sponsor conditions, hence the reason the relationship itself is not assessed until the applicant is assessed.

Okay, thank you for that. Which means...back to being insanely nervous. I wonder how long it takes if they decide it's a no, after it's sent off. I really dislike worrying and waiting. I am sure everyone feels the same. At least part one was approved. We'll pray that part 2 goes smoothly.
