Hi everyone,

I checked my status online and I got DECISION MADE and CPC Mississauga said a letter was sent to me on March 19.
Does that mean my sponsorship was approved or else?

Here is the detail message:

We received your application to sponsor "ABC" on March 5, 2009.
 
We started processing your application on March 19, 2009.
 
We sent you a letter on March 19, 2009 about the decision on your application. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us.

Please help clarify this!

Decision made if it is displayed before you enter your notes page means just that. a Desicion has been made. IF you have not received a latter yet you will soon telling you that your file has been trasnfered to the local office. The local office will send you a leeter giving you a landing appointment or interview request.

If your informmation please the person reviewing your file it should be fine, if you have any funny business going on, it mihgt mean that you are denied.

I am applying to sponsor my wife.

What do you mean by transferring to a local office and that i will be interviewed? I am residing in Canada, should i expect to have an interview with CPC here? Or did you mean my wife in Vietnam will be called for an interview?

If you're doing an outland application (I'm guessing that's the case), meaning it will be processed outside of Canada, then the application, assuming sponsorship was approved, was sent on to the appropriate visa office that will be processing it.

next_Step was describing what would happen if you had an inland application.

Your sponsorship was probably approved. It's rarely rejected. But you will not know for sure until you get that letter I'm afraid. Hang in there, it will be there soon

Yes, I applied to sponsor my wife living outside Canada. And I, as a sponsor, live in Canada

Mine is also pretty such the same information as you got, but the only difference is that mine stats "We started processing your application on Mar 18, 2009 and letter was sent out on Mar 18, 2009.  I did check my mail today but didn't get anything, so hopefully on Monday.

u cant know for sure what decision they have taken till u read the letter they sent .

Just got my letter of approval from CPC-M today and it stats that I have met the requirements for eligibility as a sponsor.  I would like to thank you guys for your help with some of the questions I had and the quick answers that you provided on this great forum.   Thank you

Hi guys,

I got my approval letter today March 24, 2009 (CPC got my package on 4th March 2009) for the spouse sponsorship. The application pack has been forwarded to visa office in Singapore.

I will keeps you guys posted.
