Hey guys,

I received my passport request two weeks ago and the ECAS system still had In Process...yesterday morning it changed to Decision Made- from what I understand this is only done when they stamp the passport (NY office anyway does this).

So here is my timeline:

File Sent: May 8, 2009
Sponsorship Approv: May 30, 2009
File transfer to Buffalo: June 5, 09
File transfer to New York: June 20, 09
Passport Request: Aug 8
Passport Sent: Aug 20
Decision Made : Aug 31
waiting for passport...............SOON I HOPE!

Hi robertbola,

Seeing how your application went through NYC, I thought I'd ask how you sent in the passport? We will be sending it from Canada to NYC.

Congrats!!! Every time I see a PR go through for Buffalo, it gets me super excited! Too bad I can't send mine in until Febuary :(
