It can mean either.... depends on what stage of processing have you received it. Have you sent your passports after medical?
If not, then I am afraid, it could be bad news else most probable good news. All the best!

No medicals .

A decision made without having done Medicals is a Rejection. However if you are strictly going by the online status checker then you may still have a chance. It has been reported numerous times on this site that there have been a number of instances where erroneous updates have been posted to various member ECAS statuses.

You can either wait for a letter from CIC or a CAIPS request may be the faster way to go for confirmation.

Hi guys,

WHat is CAIPS ?

Decission made could be in the initial stages of process when the case is straight forward.I had it for number of months and it just changed into In process recently when i reccieved 2ND AOR from buffalo.
Anyway we need to follow the letters from visa office.

What CAIPS mean ?

Simp:  CAIPS notes are the computer notes covering your interaction with CIC.  If you have made previous applications, notes about your present application, etc...they are included in your CAIPS notes which you are entitled to have.  They can be ordered online or from the government BY a Canadian friend or relative on your behalf, with your written permission.  They do not contain much relevant information until you reach this stage (or that's what I've read in other posts.)  You can also do a search at the top of this forum page for "CAIPS" and you will find all sorts of information.
