Dear All.....it seems that most of the forum members once the file updation is received the status in CIC changed from "in process" to "decision made" before receing any interview or medical notification. What does it mean? is it rejected or the case is initially approved for further process?anybody had similar experience especially from the CHC london please do dot down your experience.

Ahmed, it's not a indicator, decision made before medicals isn't good. Wait for letter to turn up and it should have more details in it.

some times  it is a computer error  because many off the applicant have this issue but after this status they got visa and they ask for medical so no worry for this may be it is changed into in process again OR requested for medical

My Case was showing "in process" since 6th of August 2010 (about 10 months) and suddenly changed into "decision made" by 1st of June 2010 and up to date I didnt recieve any letter from CHC London.

Really I dont know why it takes that long if is it rejection.

Hi Ahmed,

I suggest you wait for the official letter. Ecas is very unreliable. My ecas showed withdrawn a few months back without me doing anything. Then it changed to In Process and finally Decision made after they received medicals and passports.

Although it is true that Decision made before medicals and PPR is not a good sign, the letter will state what went wrong with your application and then you can reapply.

It seems you are lacking to concede 67 points and refusal letter is on the way! Sorry to say but before medical this could be the reason of decision made.

Take care, Pray to god.

Best Wishes

Thanks

sorry to say this, but from my past experience, decision made before the medicals means rejection. there is no concrete rule as to when you shall receive the rejection letter. it all depends upon the whims and fancies of the canadian hc of your capital city.

maybe you missed the medical request letter? (got lost at your post office or at your door steps?) the embassy did not get your medical results - so they've decided into something negative... try to check with your postman.

it is not a good sign, however, you do have to wait for a letter from you VO.
