Hello,

CIC's online system shows that our application (wife sponsoring husband) was received in early Oct, then reviewed on Oct 28th which is the exact day a decision was made and the response mailed (which we have yet to recieve). CIC will not show noline what that decision actually is. Is the fact that it was decided on the same day good news or bad news? Is this normal? Of course we are legit, so we have no fear of any fraud issues, but the paperwork involved was so grueling we are just waiting for them to find something wrong or missing...you know how it goes:)

In my case it was good news!

They opened my file on Oct 27th, made a decision Oct 27th, mailed a letter October 27th and I received an approval letter on the 30th!

I'm no authority but I assume that ND has a huge backlog. I am applying from an office that has lately been known for its quick processing, luckily. I would give it some more time before you start worrying for real.

Their processing time is 2-6 months. So don't be so anxious.

Attn:New Delhi Applicant

Friend of mine got PPR letter exactly after 2 months from the date they started process in New Delhi. It looks me that they are bit fast too.

First step always the easiest and most of the time is a good news.
