ok. tnx for that... for this case, i can consider my application was sent inland. my wife sent it to cic-mississauga when she came back there (from vacation)...then I just wait. I think Love_Young is right, the "decision made" comment in your ecas is just an AIP/AOC approval. They will send you letter regarding the next process. Maybe request for medical or Appendix A or additional documents to support your application. This is the line by line update on my ecas:
We received your application for permanent residence on January 5, 2011.
We started processing your application on February 9, 2011.
Medical results have been received.
A decision has been made on your application. The office will contact you concerning this
decision.

both of you are here in canada?becuse if in land the papers will sent to vegreville...i think yours is outside canada thats why the processing is  quicker bec if u are in land it  takes 9 to 10  for firts stage aproval....and you said the cic returned your passport and orig documents......i did not give  my passport  to cic

no..im not in canada but my wife is there.she just ask me to filled out all the applications & completed all the necessary docs when she had a vacation in manila last year and when she came back there she forwarded my application to cic-mississauga.then the cic-mississauga forwarded it to cic-manila and process the application.I think this is what happened on my application. Because all the letters I received came from cic-manila. In your case maybe, the next letter that you will receive will be asking you to submit your passport & completing appendix A.This is what happened to me, after I finished my medical & results was received by the cic.

Isabela, when you get your letter from CIC and it says that your local office will contact you for a final interview, it means you got PR, not AIP only. It is only a formal one, they will not question the genuineness of your relationship, it is a landing interview. They will ask you to confirm your address, that all your info is correct and that`s that. You do not need to worry at all.

I applied inland and got 1st and 2nd stage together on the 28th of April. I will have my landing inteview on the 2nd of June, so I will just have it. If your e-cas says decision made, it means that you got a waiver for the interview and you either got AIP or both together. Make it clear landing interview is called an interview, but it is not.
