Dear Koel,

Its difficult to comment whether ur application falls under the cap or not...

Do you know what was the cap position when your file was dispatched?

we can only guess an estimate...because usually it take uptp 3months to get

any update from CIC, you can contact to your bank for payment deduction...if it has been made

then congrats...u are under cap or you can e-mail CIC you know about the status of your application...

don't worry... Pray to Waheguru and will do good for you!!

Yes, it was reached by the second week of January .

Do you have any idea whether I can still hope to be in the 500 selected applications or not? I am too worried

Don't worry drpcbaba, CIC always take couple of week to update the capping list!! It will be

updated shortly...keep an eye on it!!

My noc is 3233, cap on 16-01-12 is 350, there is a history of more than 100 applications in last month, should I apply or not. My application is almost ready.

that is your assumption that there is 100 application in last month....because I'm keeping an eye on
lpn cap and in Nov it was 260 (as i remember) but there is only 90 application since then...!!

to be frank, its luck there may b 100 ppl can apply in same category in a week or neither for months
so please don't waste your time and go ahead

lpn received applications 433 as on 30 jan. (350 on 16 jan) i.e. 83 in 15 days.
I think only the people who receive AOR upto 3rd week feb are in.
what say vicky19? you are probably on borderline all the best for u.

Dear drpcbaba,

I do agree with the fact but as I have mentioned in my last reply there is no guarantee that the remaining
67 seats would be filled soon...it can take a week or months or may be not filled by the next year.

As for as I concern, My file was received by cic in December and if they have consider my case as a complete file
then I'm 100% in CAP, because CIC returns the file back to the applicants if it is incomplete....
otherwise applicant is in the cap on the day of delivery/assessment of documents.

I hope this statement will show you the clear picture!!

I do agree with vicky19 bcoz end of the day we have nothing to loose...if you will be applying
now, either you would be in cap or maximum not...but there is no point to wait till July(6months)

if you won't be under cap you can reapply in July and the only loss you gonna have would be the
postal money(Rs1000-from India).

So go for it rather then wasting your time and energy in this fruitless exercise

My brother is a Biochemist in India and have 2 yrs of experience and got enough points to apply. He sent his application on 13th Dec 2011 to sydney,Nova scotia under the category 2121 biologists and related scientists. He is still waiting, as DD has not been charged.

Does he has a chance to get selected within 500 cap, as when he sent his application the cap was 370 .
how long do you think he should wait or should contact new delhi visa office or CIO about status. what is the email address of CIO for asking status of the application.
