I haven't done this, but I guess you could send an email to the Ottawa office and ask them. and i got ppr today.. how do i cancel my cec application and ask for refund?

Myy app reached them on Dec 19th, still no AOR. I checked my draft a few weeks ago, and it had not been cashed.
I did however, last week, receive something in the mail from CIC. It was my payment for the RFPR fees - draft, along with a letter saying that i need to have it reissued. The problem was that the draft had 450 dollars WRITTEN on it, but had 490 written on it as well in numbers... don't ask me how the hell the bank managed to do that. So anyways, I had that rectified the same day and sent it back, which means someone had at least opened it up and started looking at it.

You send a fax to the office processing your application, with a copy of your COPR and request a refund. If they have already started processing the application, you may not get the refund. |

i just got the draft checked....the draft for my CEC application has been encashed which is good news for other DEC applications :-)
I'm not entirely sure what copr is .. i have is that that letter requesting passport for stamping.. is that COPR?

COPR (Confirmation of Permanent Residence) is a document you will receive when your passport is returned to you. You need this document to land. |

hi, i am sonia, i am international student in Toronto canada. i did MBA from back home and have one year work experience. now i am doing 2 year diploma from humber college which will finsih in 2 months. i am confuse about PR. Either i need to apply as Canada experience class or on point base. i am confuse about ontraio laws too. please give me some suggestion about PR as my studies are going to finish very soon and i will get graduate work permit.

I just tried it but unfortunately when I check ecas it tells me: "We were not able to identify you using the information you provided..."

Hey, My draft got cash on Feb 9th as well, and still no word. This is taking quite a long time to receive the AOR. That's unfortunate... I've had a few freidns who sent it of end of November, and they've all received their AORs within 9-11 weeks. Any December applicants received AOR's yet? My application was sent via express on 19th December, DD cashed Feb 9th
