I received AOR a few days before I got my approval for sponosorship. I wasnīt able to log in to ECAS until a few days after the sponsorship approval. My number dosenīt have a hyphen either. Itīs just an 8 digit number.

Laleh thank u  i'm waiting for ur good news first and then my januarian friends and yeah us too with them  me too i'm thinking in a way it's better we didn't apply earlier, our application would have probably been stuck anyway...only God knows....Ankara embassy seems very professional so i think u'll have good news until the end of the year....Amman embassy, not too sure, it's all new for them...Abu-Dhabi embassy r working hard, their timeline decreased but it's still soooooo long, 25 months (but i read abt one guy who still waits after 39 months  ) maybe Damascus will open back soon (if they do they will process only Syrians and their timeline would b soo good)....all we can do is hope....goood luck!!!!  If you don't mind me asking what is your nationality? Abu-Dhubai's timeline is crazy. I hope your file won't get transferred there. All the best to you and all other people waiting to be reunited with their loved ones. |

Guess what guys?  I got my sponsorship letter!!!!! YEY!!! My lawyer received it yesterday and she emailed it to us right away The date on the letter actually says "Feb 3, 2012" which is the approval date, but we didn't get the mail until yesterday. They do have some delays with mails- but as long as they don't have delays in processing applications, thats all ok with me So UPDATE ON THE SPREADSHEET PLEASE (and changes)- DEC 14, 2011 is when they got the application FEB 03, 2012 is when they approved it Thanks |

Oh congrats! me they received my application on Dec 13, but I still didn'T received any news when you said that your lawyer received a mail, do you mean an email or a letter via regular post? Thanks KiwiCanuck! Yeah i've checked out the sydney thread too, I'm really hoping its quick for us too! I saw it took yours 2 weeks to get to sydney? Just wondering did you send a copy of every page of your passport so that they wont request your passport? I'm thinking of doing that but not sure if I should wait until we get an AOR from sydney with a UCI number for my partner? |
