Anyone out there still waiting for PPR? we had our medicals in July 2011, and were asked for RoPRF in December 2011 (as well as being advised that no further documentation was required and that there was no need for an interview). Fee was received by CIC on 15 December last year, and we are still waiting for the PPR.........Anyone else got a timeline similar to this? We are getting really anxious that something is wrong.......I thought that they didn't ask for the RoPRF until a decision has been made.....so what's going on? Our Application was received by CIC on 7 December 2010, so we are past the 14 month mark. I have emailed CIC twice in the last month, but just got the standard reply........."your case is being processed, blah blah blah........

Wow, your timeline is almost exactly the same! Have you been asked for your RoPRF? I feel like I am going insane!

Brother we have the same situation. Hopefully our turn is coming, may be that's why they change the processing time to 15 months. I saw in the other thread that there are more like as our timeline that still waiting. Two of them were just given PPR couple of days ago and they were Sept and Oct 2010 applicants. When did your ECAS change to "Medical results have been received"?

Our medicals were received on Dec 2011. We are Dec 2010 applicants. According to the consultant handling our application, the VO will likely get back to us after 6 months from the date medicals were received. So that's approx 15-16mos of processing time.

Hi, up until recently we couldn't get on Ecas at all, but now that we can, it says,
We received your application on 7 December 2010
We started processing your application on 24 October 2011
Medicals have been received.
No date next to it, and as we couldn't get on Ecas, I don't know when the medicals have been received bit was added, but it's been there for at least the last two weeks.......other than that, still waiting. Hoping hoping hoping that something will come soon. As the processing time is now 15 months for PNP, I am praying we'll get PPR soon to give us time to send it to them, and for them to send it back, and for us to Land, all by 7 March or thereabouts. I think it's awful that so many other people who started this process way before us are done already!
I have read on lots of threads that sending the RoPRF in before they ask for it speeds up the process, but am now seeing that it actually doesn't make a blind bit of difference.............
Also, found a thread that said that Ecas now updates on a Sunday not Tuesday. Lets see if anything changes tonight :0/

processing time for some applicants are super fast. here is an example from one applicant timeline: only two months for PPR after medical done. Not sure why so much difference among applicants. Just lucky? I don't know, it seems that Nov, Dec 2010 applications for Buffalo are the slowest ones. Don't understand it :0(

I wonder how they base the criteria, I have read in other thread that one applicant was asked for PPR and was given visa, then this applicant was asking to other applicants how can he get benefits upon landing in Canada (without working and contributing yet). While those who has the potential to contribute to the economy are ignored or have them wait. Really unfair system. :-(

Yes really unfair. We have been here for nearly 4 years and have bothed worked all the time, and have four children in Elementary School. You'd think they'd want us wouldn't you?
Well, its a new week, so that's another 5 days of anxiety and stalking the post man!
