Deadline for submitting application

Hi, anybody could let me know if there is any deadline for immigration to Canada as skilled worker? and what is the date and if they receive my application after deadline what will happen? Thank you.

If you have the qualifications for FSW right now, and your application is ready to be sent then DO SO NOW.  It has to be RECEIVED by CIO no later than 30 June 2011.  (If your application reaches CIO after 30 June you may still be OK, if they have not changed the points system and qualifications significantly.)  If you are not ready, then you will have to wait until the instructions for the 1 July 2011 - 30 June 2012 period are announced to see if you still qualify.  If you do not qualify, they will reject and retain your application, but return the fees you enclosed....eventually.

Check the CIC website for details of what you are looking for. Its a pretty comprehensive website and will answer most, if not all your queries.

As for deadline..there are no specified deadlines, so as to speak...though the June30th will be the end of one round of the new rules. There is restriction on the number of Applications they will accept (1000 each). If you are in this 29 occupations and your CAP is not reached, you can apply before 30th of June (your application must reach them in time and also CAP should not have been reached)...
