"Looking for a job in Vancouver during vacation."

Hello, I'm writing from Switzerland where I live actually. I'm 28 years old and I'm technician ET in electronic. I spent 3 months studying English in Vancouver earlier this year.
I'm looking for a job in Vancouver since I came back home. I have to admit it's not as easy as I had thought. I think I should come in Vancouver to find a job as my canadian friends told me.
I can stay 3 months on a visitor visa but I'd like to know if I find a job, could I apply for employment authorization and working visa within Canada or should I be abroad ?

Could you give me your opinion about the way I choose to follow ?

Finally, I know it exists an exchange working program between Switzerland and Canada. It's a simplified process. you need to find a job and then you ask for temporary working permit. Is that an interesting alternative ?

I'm looking forward to getting reply. Thanks

You may seek employment in Canada while here as a visitor. If a job offer is obtained, you may apply while you are within Canada, but may be required to submit such an application to an office outside of Canada. In case an interview is required, it would be held at that office.

A Work Holiday Program may exist for Swiss citizens. As these are subject to quotas and frequent changes, you should contact your local Canadian Immigration Centre for details on availability.
